  • Monday to Friday
  • 8 am and onwards
  • 8am to 10am : ideally: prepare and cook food
  • 9am to 10am: get the hot table ready and move the food from 1848 to Pivik

Job duties and task
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
  • Season and cook food according to recipes/manual or personal judgment and experience
  • Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, …
  • Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment using various kitchen utensils and equipment
  • Portion, arrange and garnish food
  • Regulate temperature of oven and hot table
  • Bake, roast, broil and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other food
  • Wash, peel, cut and seed vegetable to prepare them for consumption
  • Estimate expected food consumption, then requisition or purchase supplies or procure food from storage
  • Carve and trim meats such as beef, veal, ham, pork and lamb for hot service
  • Consult with supervisory staff to plan menus, taking consideration factors such as costs
  • Keep records of quantities
  • Plan and price menu items with supervisory staff
  • Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, or environment to detect or assess problems
  • Inspecting equipment or material
  • Adhere to safety procedures
  • Handling and moving objects
  • Cook and package batches of food which are prepared to kept warm until sold
  • Maintain sanitation, health and safely standards in work areas
  • Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity
  • Clean, stock and restock workstations and display cases
  • Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
  • Track and report any food waste
  • If a meal is returned for any reason correct the problem and report the return to the manager(if happen)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager
