Who is registered?

All full-time undergraduate students registered in the fall semester are automatically enrolled in the health plan. Full-time law, education and medicine students registered in the fall are also automatically enrolled.

Graduate students (masters and doctorate) are covered by a different health plan administered by the Graduate Students’ Association (GSAED). For more information please visit the GSAED website at www.gsaed.ca

Fees

Your Health and Dental fees are $180 and are payable with your tuition fees.

The SFUO Health Plan does not replace OHIP or UHIP

Your SFUO Health Plan is complementary to government healthcare. It does not replace RAMQ or OHIP. It does not replace UHIP for international students. All students must be covered by government healthcare for medically necessary services.
