SFUO Food Bank

At the SFUO Food Bank, we envision a campus where no student needs to choose between buying food or books.  We offer the emergency food hamper program and the Ottawa Good Food Box Program.  We are also a chapter of Meal Exchange, a youth-driven charity that looks for student solutions to local hunger.

Finally, the SFUO Food Bank works to raise awareness about food insecurity and student poverty. Most importantly, we are a confidential and respectful service and a safe space for all. Bon appétit!

If you would like to give to the SFUO Food Bank, please drop off donations at our office, or at the SFUO office (UCU 07). The following items are always in demand:

• Pasta and rice products
• Canned fish and meats
• Canned fruits and vegetables
• Canned or powdered soup
• Cereal and oatmeal
• Peanut butter
• Soy milk
• Juice
• Hygienic products
• Household products
